Baby and Sibling Photoshoot
Studio shoots bring my heart joy. There is nothing like welcoming a precious family into my studio within those first few weeks of their babies life. We do newborn shoots within that first week of life because that is when baby is most willing to be posed properly and will likely sleep for the better part of the shoot. Well, this shoot is unique and a true sign of the times. It was initially supposed to be a maternity session. As you know I typically do my maternity sessions at around thirty weeks. Well, that never was able to happen because the studio was forced to close because of the global pandemic. So because we were unable to do the session we agreed on doing a newborn shoot then. Well, as you all know the country was still locked down. This shoot took place four months after he was born. While we were not able to get the quintessential newborn posed photos we were still able to get these sweet cuddly photos. I am entirely grateful that were able to get these photos and this time documented for this family. We also were able to take photos of mum to commemorate her breastfeeding journey.
