Triplet newborn photography
Triplet newborn photography can be a bit tricky. I mean there’s one of me and three of them, right?
Wrong.
During this session there were a total of FOUR women to help me! This is because these three, beautiful babies, were lucky enough to have TWO mums 🙂 Plus grandma came along (all hail granny!) and my amazing friend and photographer, Melanie Grace. So I had the worlds best team behind me, of which I am so grateful.
Pheobe, Lilly and Eddie. These babies. They were heaven.
No. Honestly.
They didn’t make a peep throughout the session, they were happy to be posed, wrapped and cuddled all day long. Both mum’s were amazing as well, totally laid back and willing just to let me do my thing (which was so much fun with THREE babies) Lisa and Charlotte (Mum’s) even wore some of my gowns I have at the studio, which added to the colour and texture of the shoot.
I was overwhelmed after this shoot, at the strength and love of women. The fact that Charlotte and Lisa were raising triplets, just blew me away. And that they were doing it with such ease and happiness, I mean are they human?!?
Another thing which I will note, is that another newborn photographer came to help me with this session. She traveled over 3 hours from Cornwall to come to my aid. HOW amazing is Mel tho? You might think its crazy, I mean she’s my competition right?….wrong again. She’s not, she’s my friend. I honestly believe in building a photography network, of friends and family, rather then a competitive void. Isn’t better to have a family, with my fellow photographer women? (and men)
It’s times like this, when I have a friend to call on, that I am so glad I don’t run my business within a bubble. Mel you rock. And if your a fellow photographer, and ever need some help, you pick up that phone and call on me. Because we need more of this.
