I was so excited when Lindsey reached out to me, to book her maternity and newborn photography session. I was even more thrilled when she said she wanted to keep the photos really emotive and intimate. This is so up my street you wouldn’t believe!
During a maternity photography session with me, the best bit is choosing the clothes. I have built a little changing area in my studio and it actually has flattering lighting and mirrors (I usually haaaaate changing rooms!) I have loads of beautiful gowns you mama’s can choose from as well. Lindsey chose a mocha coloured backless gown and we went from there.
Each session is totally different. Lindsey was totally happy to bear a little more skin towards the end of the shoot. Some mama’s choose not too and it’s all good, you do you pretty much.
My fav photos are the ones of Lindsey and Shane together. I loooooove to photograph couples (I do weddings too you see, click here) there’s something super special about a couple waiting for thier first baby to arrive.
