Cornwall Family Photography Shoot
This was SUCH a special session for me. Mainly because Mel is a good friend of mine, we’ve been friends for years now. She also happens to be a photographer herself, an amazing one at that!
Like most of us mums, she never gets time to be in front of the camera or have photos taken with her children, so I insisted that I do a shoot for her and her family. My family and I travelled down to Saltash in Cornwall (about 4 hours away form our home, with a toddler in a car, you can imagine how fun that journey was ha!) to meet with Mel for the weekend. Mel photographed me and my family one evening, and then the next evening I photographed her and her family. We had her session scheduled in the evening to get those beautiful sunset tones. The beach in Saltash, Cornwall was a long walk down a steep cliff, but it was worth the walk. We had so much fun, completely forgetting we were on a shoot and getting wet/sandy! Once we were finished with the shoot we had to empty our shoes as they were filled with so much sand to walk back up. The walk was a little intimidating with littles but I would say the photos are well worth it. Truly thankful that Mel and I would take each others family photos during this trip.
