It's a bit hard to figure out what to get your one year old for their birthday, they've also grown so much since they were a newborn. A cake smash photoshoot is the perfect gift for your baby, they get to smash up cake, run around and splash in the bath.
All sessions include full use of the studio wardrobe, sibling and family portraits are also included and access to your own private online gallery 2 weeks after your session.

Hampshire cake smash photography
- Arrive at my Hampshire photography studio we will get started taking portrait photos of baby, and you all as a family (siblings always welcome)
- We will then move onto the star of the show, the cake! Baby is enocouraged to make as much mess as possible...the messier the better.
- Then, its bath time! Again, baby is encouraged to splash and make as much mess as possible....this means amazing photos, plus they leave the studio nice and clean.

You can decide if you would like the cake smash shoot before babies birthday (so you receive the images back for party invitation's etc) or if you would like the shoot on thier actual birth date. I typically book up 2-3 months in advance – so please get in touch as soon as possible.

Cake smash sessions are held in my studio and last up to an hour. Athough there is not limit, we go at babies pace.

YES! Siblings and family members are encouraged to jump into the photos, the more the merrier!
You can choose the type of cake you have for your session. If you need a cake with dietry requirements, just let me know.
You are also welcome to bring your own cake and/or treat if you would rather.
We can also just take photos of baby and the family, if you really don't want the cake.
Once you have booked your session, you will receive a welcome guide in the post. Within this guide, it explains wardrobe and what to wear etc. Generally, my advice for cake smash sessions is to stick to neutrals.
It will normally range between 50-100 images. I try and give you as many as possible from the session.
I will deliver your online gallery within 2 weeks.

You can always do a little practise at home, give baby a cupcake in their high chair ans let them explore.
The session is supposed to be fun, theres no pressure on your baby to perform in any way.
Once you have booked your session, you will receive a welcome guide in the post. Within this guide, it explains wardrobe and what to wear etc. Generally, my advice for newborn sessions is to stick to neutrals.
It will normally range between 30-60 images. I try and give you as many as possible from the session. You get full printing rights with your purchase.
I will deliver your online gallery within 2 weeks.
